What can I expect?

Danish Defence Annual Conference - DDAC - is the main event of the Danish Defence Industry and the largest of its kind on Danish soil. The conference is hosted by DI Danish Defence and Security Industries Association, CenSec, and Naval Team Denmark alternating between Aalborg and Copenhagen.

DDAC attracts more than 300 participants from Denmark and abroad who will discuss relevant policy issues, defence matters and industry aspects. The conference offers a unique opportunity to gain new insights and to meet and network with leaders of the defence industry, and to discuss with and gain knowledge from high-level decision-makers from the Danish Ministry of Defence, the armed forces, universities, and a wide range of defence companies.

Verner Kristiansen as moderator

DDAC 2022 will be moderated by Verner Kristiansen. Verner Kristiansen has thirty years of experience in strategic communication and international development. He has worked for the UN, Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Copenhagen-based think tank Monday Morning. Results-orientation of interactive conferences is a particular interest he has developed over the past ten years of advisory services to decision-makers and practitioners in private companies, governments, and civil society. What do I need to know?

The event will take place on August 23, 2022, at the Confederation of Danish Industry at Industriens Hus, Copenhagen.

The conference offers an interesting programme, exciting speeches, and great opportunities for you to network with your colleagues in the industry. It will open with an icebreaker on the evening of the 22nd of August.

Notice that DDAC 2022 will take place the day before the annual Industry Days organized by The Danish Ministry of Defence Acquisition and Logistics Association (DALO). 

Due to Covid-19, DDAC was postponed from February 2022 until August 2022. If you signed up for the event in February and cannot attend in August, we will of course refund your payment. Please contact: di-fos@di.dk

You can book stands in two sizes - 1x1 meter (DKK 3400 + VAT) and 3 x 2 meters (DKK 6800 + VAT)
We kindly ask you to respect these measurements and not bring modules that exceed this limit.

Payment policy

Cancellation 

We strongly expect the event to be hosted although Covid-19 still plays a big role. We will of course take all precautions though. In case DDAC must be canceled due to Covid-19 you will get the full registration fee reimbursed. Credit card fees are not reimbursed. Note that the exchange rate may have changed from the time you registered and the time you receive your money back.

Though, tickets are non-refundable as long as an event can be moved with the same setup to another date. In the event of cancellation of an event, the basic price of the ticket will be refunded. 
Change of date, partial implementation of the event, events not completed according to the event description, etc. are not considered canceled.
Ticket fees, delivery fees, card fees, and any costs incurred for postage will not be refunded.

By purchasing via the website, the ticket buyer accepts that DI Danish Defence and Security Association stores and stores personal information that has been submitted in connection with ticket purchases. The personal information, such as name, address, telephone number, information about e-mail address, etc., is transferred to DI Danish Defence and Security Association.  This is done to ensure the ticket buyer the optimal service e.g. in case of late changes in the event and cancellations. It is the ticket buyer's responsibility that DI Danish Defence and Security Association always has correct contact information, so that notification of canceled/changed events can be passed on to the ticket buyer.
