Matchmaking Event for Classified Deployable Container Modules

Are you a company ready to deliver reliable, high-quality components to a project designed for classified military operations? Then join us for the matchmaking event for classified deployable container modules

As part of the Danish Defence’s project for deployable container modules, we are looking for Danish subcontractors with expertise in one or more of the following: Steel work, aluminium work, cable assembling, panel building, electrical installation and sound attenuation.

Background
The Danish Defence has developed a deployable container module design that enables operations involving classified information in challenging climates. To bring this solution to life the Danish Defence has selected a prime contractor Contour Advanced Systems from Netherlands. The contractor is now seeking Danish subcontractors with the necessary competencies and capacity to support scaling up execution of the project.

Program

Contour Advanced Systems (CAS)

CAS is a system integrator from Netherlands specializing in modular, mission-critical solutions for defence and security. They deliver container systems equipped for communication, command, and classified operations. With extensive experience from NATO and EU missions, CAS ensures compliance with strict military standards. CAS is the selected

Practical Information
Format
: 15-minute B2B meetings per company. Participation is limited to two (2) representatives per company.

Target group: Companies with documented experience and capacity in the business fields listed below.

Requirements: To participate, it is required to complete and submit the application form for the B2B meeting no later than Wednesday, 21 May 2025. You will receive the application form with the confirmation e-mail. Please note: By registering, you also accept that the Danish Ministry of Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organisation (Forsvarsministeriets Materiel- og Indkøbsstyrelse) may share your application form with the Dutch supplier.


Project requirements

The contractor is actively looking to engage and meet Danish companies who are interested in becoming a subcontractor and have the capability and capacity within the appointed fields. Companies must meet certain requirements such as certifications, project experience, and the ability to obtain security clearance (if selected as a subcontractor). Steel Work (ISO freight shipping containers)

Requirements

  • Knowledge within the scope of constructing, manufacturing and welding steel containers, capable of being certified according to the CSC standards for 20ft 1CC ISO-containers.
  • Knowledge and competence in modification of common CSC approved 20ft 1CC freight containers (One trip containers).
  • In possession of a valid quality regime and the finished containers shall be CSC approved by third party and delivered with certificate.

The scope comprises of

Office, power container body, chiller container body and transport container (1CC)

  1. Container construction work acc. to Convention of Safe Containers (CSC) requirements and related standards, or
  2. Modification of standard (One Trip) 20ft freight container – and recertification to CSC requirements.  
Steel work

Requirements

Knowledge within the scope of constructing, manufacturing (laser-cut, bending and welding) steel constructions. Product examples are 3x3 meters platforms, which also require minor assembling with rivets, nuts, bolts etc.

In possession of a valid quality regime for the steelwork itself and for surface treatment as hot dip galvanizing and painting systems.

The scope comprises of

Hallway and hallway related parts (emergency exit door, doorframe, server wall a.s.o.

  1. Steel work – laser cutting, bending, welding, grinding
  2. Surface treatment - Hot dip galvanizing & paint systems  
Aluminum work (ISO freight containers)

Requirements

Knowledge within the scope of constructing, manufacturing and welding aluminum containers, capable of being certified according to the CSC standards for 20ft 1CC ISO-containers.

The aluminum containers are to be 100% fully welded, no spot welding or sealant filling is allowed anywhere in the construction.

In possession of competences in aluminum manufacturing and especially welding, a valid quality regime and the finished containers shall be CSC approved by third party and delivered with certificate.

The scope comprises of

Server container

  1. Container construction work in aluminum to CSC requirements and related standards
  2. EMC-shielding construction
  3. Testing of EMC capability

Cover plates

1. Qualified aluminum work (welding,        construction and perhaps light      assembly work)  

Cable assembling, panel building and electrical installation

Requirements

Knowledge within cable assembling, according to the manufactures guidelines and valid standards.

Experience in electrical installations in container systems or other comparable mobile units and be able to perform the installations according to valid parts of relevant standards and legislation i.e. 60364 and 61439 series.

In possession of a valid quality regime.

The scope comprises of

Fiber optical cables with connectors:

  1. Assembling of fiber optical cable assemblies/harness including quality insurance.
  2. On-site assembling and installation of fiber optical cables in container systems including on-site quality insurance.

Power cables and electrical installation work:

  1. Manufacturing of sub-components as switchboards including required test & verification
  2. Panel building, power dividing cabinets, switchboxes, encasement of electrical components like transformers.
  3. On-site installation in container systems including required test and verification  
Sound attenuation wall

Requirements

Knowledge within carpentry or similar, capacitating the manufacture to deliver a finished wall and ceiling installation in container systems but to a specification with high quality and low tolerance standards as the primary focus.

Expect the tolerances, limitation of gaps etc. used in the specification to be very narrow compared to similar specifications for that type of tasks.

The scope comprises of

Interior wood and metal work

  1. Qualified interior construction/installation company
  2. Qualified carpenter businesses
  3. Finishing the interior construction with wood or metal parts
  4. Installing insulation material according to high standards
  5. Installing specialized doors, and doorframes

Vendor will be trained in the work on a demonstrator model.
