As part of the Danish Defence’s project for deployable container modules, we are looking for Danish subcontractors with expertise in one or more of the following: Assembly of parts to a full construction of an equipment build out of metal and electric components, welding and bending of metal piping in stainless steel, delivery of hoses and couplings for glycol cooling systems, building and testing of electrical cabinets and panels and mechanical, electrical and climatic support on service activities.
Background
The Danish Defence has developed a deployable container module design that enables operations involving classified information in challenging climates. To bring this solution to life the Danish Defence has selected a prime contractor Contour Advanced Systems (CAS) from Netherlands. The Dutch contractor is seeking Danish subcontractors with the necessary skills, competencies and capacity to assist in the scaling up of their business. Also, for maintaining these units during the lifespan of the systems.

Contour Advanced Systems (CAS)
CAS is a system integrator from Netherlands specializing in modular, mission-critical solutions for defense and security. They deliver container systems equipped for communication, command, and classified operations. With extensive experience from NATO and EU missions, CAS ensures compliance with strict military standards. CAS is the selected prime contractor for the Danish Military’s project: Classified Deployable Container Modules.
Furthermore, CAS is leading in containerized solutions for semi-permanent Data Centers as a system integrator for defense and government requirements.

Practical Information
- Format: 15-minute B2B meetings per company. Participation is limited to two (2) representatives per company.
- Target group: Companies with documented experience and capacity in the business fields listed below.
- Requirements: To participate, it is required to complete and submit the application form for the B2B meeting no later than Sunday, 12 April 2026. You will receive the application form with the confirmation e-mail. Please note: By registering, you also accept that the Danish Ministry of Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organisation (Forsvarsministeriets Materiel- og Indkøbsstyrelse) may share your application form with the Dutch supplier. The Dutch supplier will select the companies according to the needs from CAS and the capacity of the event space
Project requirements
The contractor is actively looking to engage and meet Danish companies who are interested in becoming a subcontractor and have the capability and capacity within the appointed fields. Companies must meet certain requirements such as certifications, project experience, and the ability to obtain security clearance (if selected as a subcontractor). Assembly
- The assembly of metal and electric parts to a full construction of a building block. This includes the use of sealant, connecting cables and mechanical parts and electrical testing.
Requirements
- Knowledge of metal bending, folding, welding and coating.
- It is not required to do all these tasks in house. The use of sub-contractors is allowed as long as Contour is aware what tasks are done at what place.
- The supplier should have a controlled quality system in place (ISO 9001 or similar).
The scope comprises of
- Fresh air units (motor, filter, piping, valves, a.s.o.).
- Sound dampening boxes (metal construction, coated, insulation foam inside).
- Enty panels with connectors and cabling.
- Entry hatches with coating.
- Fresh air ducting with air duct heaters.
- The assembly of desk frames, desk tops, screen mounts to a full workstation.
Metal piping
- The automatic bending of piping up to 28mm of stainless steel.
- Bespoke piping in larger sizes (up to 63mm) in stainless steel with welded branching.
- Tested on pressure up to 8.0 bar.
Requirements
- Knowledge computer-controlled bending of piping in stainless steel up to 28mm.
- Assembly of adding couplings, and fittings.
- The work should be quality controlled.
- The supplier should have a controlled quality system in place (ISO 9001 or similar).
The scope comprises of
- Stainless steel piping, bended into several configurations with fittings and couplings.
- Welded stainless steel piping with branches.
- Leak and pressure testing (10 to 12 bar).
Building of electrical panels and cabinets
- Building main and secondary distribution panels according to European and Danish standards.
Requirements
- Knowledge about electrical standards.
- Testing these electrical panels and cabinets.
- Certifying the electrical systems according to European, German and Danish laws.
The scope comprises of
- Main distribution panels for electrical installations in containerized environments.
- Secondary distribution panels for electrical installations in containerized environments.
- Testing according to European, German and Danish standards, law and providing test reports and full certification.
Building of IT racks
- Bending metal, laser cutting of metal parts and coating these in order to supply bespoke 19” IT racks with a low tolerance for deviations.
Requirements
- Knowledge of metal cutting, metal bending, metal coating and welding.
- The supplier should have a controlled quality system in place (ISO 9001 or similar).
The scope comprises of
- IT racks and parts for the assembly of 19” storage racks for IT equipment.
Bespoke cooling equipment
- Cooling equipment for glycol cooling systems or brine systems that is build into containerized solutions and can operate within challenging climatic conditions.
Requirements
- Knowledge about bespoke cooling equipment for containerized solutions.
- Knowledge about climatic conditions (AECTP requirements).
- Knowledge about shock and vibration calculations and testing.
- The supplier should have a controlled quality system in place (ISO 9001 or similar).
The scope comprises of
- Glycol or brine cooling systems for in containerized solutions.
- 20ft container solutions for larger glycol cooling systems.
- Maintenance of the delivered systems.
Service and maintenance support
- Support on service and maintenance on various locations within the Kingdom of Denmark.
Requirements
- Knowledge about electrical systems.
- Knowledge about mechanical systems.
- Able to re-certificate electrical systems according Danish law and standards.
- Knowledge about fiber optic data systems.
- The supplier should be able to have screened employees ready to maintain and repair several types of systems in restricted areas.
- The supplier should have a controlled quality system in place (ISO 9001 or similar).
The scope comprises of
- Executing yearly maintenance.
- Executing re-certification of electrical systems on location in the Kingdom of Denmark.
- Repair work (corrective work) on several systems.
