This year, Green Energy Export Day, includes two Africa-focused workshops that highlight the potential for energy companies in East Africa and North Africa.
At a time when energy exporters are navigating geopolitical uncertainty, supply chain disruptions and changing investment priorities, Green Energy Export Day offers companies a space to turn broad market developments into concrete commercial perspectives. North Africa – Market Overview

Background
The countries of North Africa are becoming increasingly important for Danish exporters and project developers in the energy sector. Europe needs to replace Russian energy sources while also transitioning to green energy. North Africa has abundant solar and wind resources, and its proximity to Europe makes it an ideal source of energy for Europe. In this workshop, Danish ambassadors to North Africa will explore the opportunities and challenges for energy companies in this neighboring region. The presentation will include an overview of political commitments on both sides of the Mediterranean, economic and geopolitical drivers, and specific market issues, as well as examples of projects currently in the pipeline.
