Seasight Solutions was originally founded in 1950 as a shipyard in Hvide Sande on the west coast of Denmark. In the mid 1990s, as a result of a downturn in the fishing industry, steel and aluminum construction was added to the company's activities, and in 1996 Seasight Solutions received the first of many orders from Vestas Wind Systems With a clear focus on innovation and EPCIS (engineering, procurement, construction, implementation, and service), the product portfolio has grown to include innovative heavy lifting equipment, air force maintenance platforms, and manufacturing tools and ra mps for various industries around the world

In 2023, Seasight Solutions was one of five Danish companies to sign an agreement with F 35 manufacturer Lockheed Martin, joining the Product Support Provider Network for ground support equipment
