Meet the Saudi Food and Drug Authority – SFDA – in DI
This is your opportunity to give your input to the SFDA on the challenges your company meets when exporting to Saudi within the food and healthcare sectors.
DI invites member companies to meet with three experts from the Saudi Food and Drug Authorities – SFDA at Industriens Hus in Copenhagen on 20 March 2019.
The meeting focuses on the full value chain within:
- FOOD: Finished processed, ingredients, organic, safety, inspection, control, wrapping etc.
- HEALTH: Life science, pharma, consumables, diagnostics, drug alert systems, control of medical devices etc.
At the meeting you will have the opportunity to give your input on how the SDFA can work for easier access to the Saudi market by addressing your concrete challenges to the Saudi representatives. This meeting will be followed up by a visit from the president of the SFDA in week 20.
The experts from SFDA would like to meet technical staff with specific challenges in the market within the two sectors.
The meeting is the first part of a follow-up meeting in April 2019 where the president of SFDA will participate.
ABOUT SFDA
The Saudi Food and Drug Authority was established under the Council of Ministers resolution as an independent body corporate that directly reports to The President of Council of Ministers. The Authority’s objective is to ensure safety of food and drug for humans and animals, and safety of biological and chemical substances as well as electronic products.
