Heating Up the Twin Transition

Digitalisation in District Heating and Energy Efficiency in Buildings

Data and digitalisation play a key role in the next phase of the green transition. More and better data will ensure the green transition through sector coupling and intelligent IT solutions. A twin transition approach recognises that there is a huge and largely untapped opportunity for technology and data to drive sustainability goals and unlock efficiency and productivity.

The Netherlands and Denmark are taking firm steps towards developing a leading position in relation to developing and utilising digital solutions in the energy sector. In light hereof, we want to seize the opportunity to facilitate enhanced collaboration and establish strong partnerships between Denmark and the Netherlands.

Therefore, State of Green, The Embassy of Denmark in The Hague, the Confederation of Danish Industry, as well as FME and InnovationQuarter, are inviting you to take part in a course of events and campaign initiatives that will bring together market leaders and stakeholders from Denmark and the Netherlands. The course will consist of two events and an awareness campaign targeting Dutch decisions makers. The aim is to promote cooperation within digitalisation as part of the solution to some of the future energy and heating consumption challenges.

The events

The first event will take place in The Hague on Tuesday the 13th of June. Here you will gain insights into the developments in DK and NL, as well as cooperation possibilities between the following..

Dutch Stakeholders:
  • Large district heating utilities and building contractors
  • SMEs with innovative solutions
  • Regulatory authorities
  • Research institutions

The second event will take place in Denmark on Tuesday the 31st of October, where Dutch stakeholders at the forefront of the twin transition will be invited to Denmark to follow up and expand on the conversations and relations initiated in The Hague.

To leverage the events and the traction gained, State of Green will initiate a digital campaign showcasing solutions from Denmark targeted Dutch decision makers. More info will follow on this.
