Short Webinar: Energy Efficiency in France

The Confederation of Danish Industry and the Danish Embassy in France invite Danish companies to tune into a short, but valuable webinar offering insights on the growing business opportunities for Danish companies within the energy efficiency industry and sustainable cities in France.

FRENCH CHALLENGES & GREEN INVESTMENTS

Low energy performing buildings and a polluted construction sector are core challenges to the energy transition in France. In fact, the building sector remains the most energy consuming sector, with residential and tertiary sectors accounting for 41.9 percent of the final energy consumption. Schools and health establishments are some of the most energy-intensive type of buildings in France.

The EU Recovery Packages available due to the covid-19 pandemic, allows for private and public French stakeholders to deploy initiatives in favor of a green recovery.  In France, the ‘Plan de relance’ will devote 30 billion euros, out of 100 billion euros, to the green transition. The plan will particularly focus on optimizing energy efficiency within the French infrastructure.

The webinar will highlight the opportunities that this poses for Danish companies.
