Danish Industry (DI) and the Copenhagen Institute for Futures Studies (CIFS) have once again joined forces to let Nordic stakeholders investigate AI, and how the immersive internet will develop across industries. This allows you to be prepared for what is to come and become aware of the impact it might have on your business - whether your organisation is a private entity or a governmental institution. 
The first edition of the Nordic Metaverse Summit was held in 2023 and was completely sold-out.

Why AI and the Metaverse?

The latest developments in AI have created a new reality with a new relationship between humans and machines, where we are seeing exponential growth in tools supporting faster, cheaper, easier and even more creative products and services.The development of AI is playing a considerable part towards a future where the physical and virtual worlds merge, where our surroundings are supplemented with virtual layers, enabling individuals, businesses, and brands to interact and do business in entirely new ways.
 
The Immersive internet is recognised as "the future of the Internet", and although the term 'Metaverse' saw a dip in the buzz, the merge of our physical and virtual worlds continues. The question is how companies in the Nordics can lean into this evolution and what it means for our future businesses, organisations, and society.
