What: NYCxDesign is a citywide festival in New York from 16 – 23 May. The festival is a showcase across the city of New York highlighting design as a tool to solve problems. The programme fosters an environment of sharing, education, and uniting people to embrace design as a tool for contributing to tomorrow’s challenges.
Join the showcase aimed to provide visitors with an overview of Danish sustainability strongholds across products, material, and supply categories - from lighting to furniture, accessories, and textiles. You will have the opportunity to not only showcase key products from your collection but also highlight and educate B2B and consumer stakeholders on your brand’s unique practices and process that bring circular and sustainable methodologies to life through the products that make up this curated environment.
The Sustainability Design Exhibition will have three-day presence at the two-week festival with a joint showcase at a selected venue in New York City. The showcase will take place at the same time as ICFF, North America’s leading platform for contemporary furniture design. The Danish pop-up will be promoted through the NYCxDesign channels, and a variety of events will be held on the location. The space will be curated, integrating +15 companies into the space, while highlighting products and sustainability strongholds from each brand.
The Danish Sustainability Design Exhibition is for companies focusing on sustainable practices and products, and is already present in or exporting to the U.S.
The event is organized by Danish Industry and the Consulate General of Denmark in New York, branded by Creative Denmark, and co-financed by Trade Council of Denmark.
