ESG Masterclass - session 2

Beyond the “E” - challenge your insights with ESG technology solutions

In this ESG masterclass session, we aim to challenge your insights with an interactive ESG program that has a strong technology focus. We will unfold the world of technology and the opportunities that it creates for your specific organisation, and where technology solutions are applicable in the steps in your ESG journey. We will prepare cases that fit your interests and challenge you to discuss and apply various technology solutions to different relevant methods/tools to ultimately help optimize your sustainability efforts.

The learning objectives for this session are:

  • Gain insights about the ESG maturity level of the different companies attending the masterclass, and the obstacles they face in their ESG journey
  • Regulatory changes that impact your organisation, and how to accommodate them with technology solutions
  • The necessary steps in an ESG journey from KPMG’s perspective and experience
  • The risks and opportunities with technology solutions, and how you can work with these solutions in your organisation
  • Summary of relevant methods and tools for your ESG journey, how to optimise this process with technology and what you should be aware of.

This masterclass session will be facilitated in a workshop format with inspirational talks from our ESG and technology experts, alongside interactive activities throughout the day, including plenary discussions, breakout sessions with exciting ESG cases and a short quiz. To prepare an interactive masterclass that fit your interests, we will send a survey out that must be returned a week prior to the session for us to incorporate your respective interests.

To ensure an inclusive culture for everyone, this masterclass will be facilitated in English.

Who is it for?

  • This masterclass is primarily for finance, compliance, and CSR/Sustainability professionals from companies that are already required to report or that will be required to report in the coming years i.e., companies with more than 250, regardless of ownership structure

  • This masterclass offers an opportunity for knowledge sharing and networking with colleagues outside your organization as well as for listening to presentations and Q&A sessions from leading experts in the area.
