Enlit Asia Jakarta 2023
DI and the Danish Trade Council in Jakarta invite Danish companies to join the Danish pavilion at the Enlit Asia fair in Jakarta on 13-16 November 2023.
Enlit Asia, a merger of the former PowerGen Asia and Asian Utility Week, is one of the most important events in the energy industry in the Asia pacific. The fair will provide Danish companies with an excellent platform to meet stakeholders and potential partners from Southeast Asian countries, especially in the energy sector.
Indonesia, with over 270 million inhabitants, is the largest economy in ASEAN, and the country expects an annual growth in electricity demand of 4.5%. This is a clear opportunity for Danish expertise, as Indonesia attempts to move away from its current heavy reliance on coal. Indonesia is currently responsible for 40% of the total energy consumption in ASEAN, and more than 70% of their energy is generated by coal.
The Enlit Asia fair focuses on the green transition in Indonesia’s and ASEAN’s energy sector. The fair covers four main areas, resulting in a wide range of Danish companies being qualified to join. The areas are "Efficiency", "Grid", "Renewables", and "Digitalization".
This is the first Danish pavilion at the Enlit Asia fair, and the primary aim is to provide a valuable and unique platform for the participating Danish companies who will get the chance to showcase Danish expertise, innovations, and technologies.
The participants will be invited to a one-day event in Jakarta the day before the Enlit fair. Here EIFO ( The Export and Investment Fund of Denmark) together with Trade Council will present its new attractive financing model specifically aimed at meeting Indonesia’s demand for green solutions.
